Midwest Volleyball Power United (MVP United) was born through a merger between MVP and the United Sports Academy. MVP has been known through the years as the premier volleyball club in the Siouxland area. The success of their program is apparent in looking at their past records. MVP has had 13 teams compete competitively at USA & AAU Junior National Tournaments in the past seven years! In 2015, the MVP 18 RICK team brought home a National Championship by winning the AAU 18 Classic Division and in 2016, 16 AFTERSHOCK won the 16 CLUB Division at the AAU National Championship Tournament in Orlando, FL! In addition, 3 of the MVP teams have finished in the Top 10 at AAU National Tournaments!
MVP brings with them into this merger their organization’s leaders and coaches, Rick Pruett, Melissa Smith and Kam Smith, as well as their current coaching staff consisting of MVP alumni and collegiate athletes. We believe that our MVP United club volleyball program promotes competitiveness, teaches individuals to excel, and develops leadership skills that transcend athletics into every aspect of a member's life.
MVP United offers professionally run programs administrated by qualified individuals in the sport of volleyball. The MVP United volleyball program will be available to all skill levels. Our goals are to provide the opportunity for highly skilled athletes to pursue college scholarship opportunities as well as giving the less experienced player the chance to improve their skills for their school teams. We will be offering skill and development sessions throughout the year. Tryouts will be held for volleyball club teams this fall.
