Coach Phillips comes to SIoux City from Honolulu, Hawaii. She played volleyball for Radford High School where her team captured the OIA (Oahu Interscholastic Association) championship her sophomore year. Noel received 2nd team All Conference recognition her sophomore and junior years of HS and garnered first team honors her senior year and competed in the All-Star game. Noel also played club volleyball for four years. After high school, Coach Phillips attended college and played volleyball for Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, CO where she was coached by former MVP Club Coach and standout Morningside setter, Jess Squiers (Tjaden). After her two years in junior college, Noel transferred to Briar Cliff University to continue her education and volleyball career. Noel is currently a junior at BCU and she is a right side hitter/setter on the Charger volleyball team. This is Noel’s first year coaching for MVP.
