The United Sports Academy Holds First Event

NORTH SIOUX CITY, SD – The United Sports Academy holds their first official event today – a youth volleyball tournament. The United Sports Academy, or “The U”, is Siouxland’s premier club owned athletic training and competition facility located in the south end of the former Gateway campus, 300 Centennial Drive in North Sioux City. The building is also home to V.I.P. Gymnastics, Ninja and Cheer and other businesses.

The 56,000 square foot multi-sport facility can be converted to 4 college basketball courts, 4 college volleyball courts, 8 youth basketball courts, 8 youth volleyball courts or 4 pickleball courts. Later this year, Phase II of the project will consist of a 7,000 sq. ft. health club and performance training center, 2 state-of-the-art golf simulators and a corporate event space with food and beverage.

The United Sports Academy will function as a membership based business giving its members access to the courts, health club, event space and all future amenities. “The U” will also be merging with local youth club teams becoming their new home for practice, tournaments and skill development. In the future, the community will have the ability to rent out the space for events. More information will be posted on the website soon regarding memberships, events and facility use.
